The mission of the Family & Friends Support Council is to:
• promote community engagement
• identify new fundraising resources and volunteers
• execute events generating funds to facilitate programming that enhances the lives of the individuals served by Rainbow Omega.
The FSC will also work to advance volunteer recruitment to assist with special events.
FSC’s 2025 Nashville to Birmingham Songwriters’ Experience Benefiting Rainbow Omega
We are so grateful for the Family & Friends Support Council and their work to hold another amazing fundraising event which raised $85,483.20 to enhance programs for the individuals served at Rainbow Omega. To all who attended and supported this event – Thank You!
Speedy and Greg, from The Rick Burgess Show, were amazing emcees again this year! Individuals who choose Rainbow Omega for their home shared what Rainbow Omega means to them during dinner.
Music, stories and a night of supporting Rainbow Omega along with silent and live auctions filled the remainder of the evening. If you missed it this year, watch for the date for next year’s Nashville to Birmingham experience. More songs, more stories, more fun is promised while supporting programs to enhance the lives of individuals at Rainbow Omega.
The event provides financial support for Rainbow Omega’a Adaptive Exercise Program taught by Adaptive Fitness Instructor Heather Gruber. Heather visits twice weekly to provide structured and individualized exercise programs for those wishing to implement specific activities to reach their fitness goals.
